Cold Sesame Noodles and Vegetables

We went for a picnic today and not being a big fan of the sandwich (except on baguette or something equally crunchy which we didn’t have in the house) I made these noodles last night to take for my lunch.

They are incredibly simple to make, you just cook your noodles and vegetables and then add a simple dressing and throw some sesame seeds on top of the whole thing. The only changes I made were to use soba noodles instead of wholewheat spaghetti as I adore soba noodles and happened to have some in the house and I omitted the cayenne pepper from the dressing.

I really really enjoyed these noodles, they were fine for the picnic even though we didn’t use a cool bag and there are plenty left for lunches for the next few days, yum!

So, what do you think?
