Four Grain Tomato Soup and Basic Biscuits


This soup was a little bit bland for my liking, I think it needed a lot more herbs in it to give it some flavour. I also added an extra tin of tomatoes to my soup rather than all the water it called for as I thought that would have made it even more bland.

The grains are brown rice, wild rice, quinoa and barley and they were really nice cooked in soup. I will probably make this again but I will add the extra herbs and perhaps some garlic to liven it up.

The biscuits were really nice and simple. The mixture of wholewheat and white flour made them seem more healthy but didn’t make them feel heavy. Another biscuit recipe to go into my rotation!
