If you’ve read much of this blog you know that I have a soft spot for biscuits and am always trying new recipes for them. This one was particularly easy and quick to make and the biscuits came out really well and were really flaky inside. The recipe had 1/4 cup of margarine in it which I think helped with the texture and taste a lot. As you can see I didn’t bother rolling them out (it was a quick supper to go with the leftover split pea soup from the freezer) but instead just broke the mixture into 6 pieces and plonked them on a tray.
I’ll definitely add this one to my list of biscuit recipes to use, always nice to have another one!
