Linguine with Bread Crumbs and Lemon

This was a really simple quick dish to make using just pasta, garlic, lemon juice and bread crumbs. I used Japanese breadcrumbs as I had them to hand and it meant I didn’t have to defrost bread and then bake it to dry it out, I think they worked really well.

The lemon wasn’t overpowering at all and the garlic added that nice extra touch to it. Unfortunately Little One didn’t like this for some reason. I think it was the lemon juice but as he’s not up to scratch on flavours he couldn’t tell me which flavour it was that didn’t agree with him. However, I’m sure I will make this recipe halved for myself in the future and try it on him in a year or so to see if his taste buds can take the lemon then!
